Guest Facilites
Guests have the use of the Logis du Paradis’ private salt water open air swimming pool in the Summer, located in a secluded and sunny enclosed garden with chairs, tables and sun loungers. There is ample, secure open air and some undercover parking.
Breakfast is served either in the guests’ dining room or on the south-facing terrace overlooking the Logis’ courtyard. Breakfast includes fresh fruit juices, yoghurt, fresh fruit, French bread and croissants, butter, jams and tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
An honesty bar/fridge in the guests’ kitchen is stocked with mineral water, soft drinks, beer and wine. Guests may make tea and coffee here at no extra charge. We regret that no other cooking is permitted.
We are happy to recommend and make reservations for you at local restaurants. A light poolside barbecue lunch, and a four-course candlelit dinner served on our terrace under the stars, are available at the Logis every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from June to September, with other meals on request by agreement. Please advise us of any dietary requirements.
The prospect beckoned of the limpid blue swimming pool in the flower-filled walled garden, which we glimpsed through the gates at the end of the courtyard. Was today one for dozing with a book between refreshing dips in the healthy salt waters of the pool until lunchtime and maybe a barbecue?
Time to plunge into the refreshing pool, then take in the last heat of the day on a lounger, the warmth reflecting off the ancient stone walls and the stone terraces, before making the tough decision of whether or not to have a white or a rosé Pineau as our first aperitif?
We enjoyed a delicious and convivial dinner on the terrace under the stars, then concluded with a glass or two of the local nectar; Grande Champagne Cognac, from the neighbour’s distillery...
