We will try to supply here up-to-date news for those of you who visit this page. Please excuse us if at busy times it doesn’t always change as fast as we would like.
The News will be of different kinds. There is of course the Grand Touring Club Newsletter which essentially reports on the events and tours organised each year by the GTC for enthusiasts of older cars and Historic motorsport.
In addition we will report periodically on events and developments at Le Logis du Paradis, where life moves on a good pace and the various phases of development of the property provide a continuing source of interest to visitors and friends whom we hope will revisit regularly to keep an eye on how we are faring with this "lifetime’s work".
For the second time, and in much better weather, Logis du Paradis hosted the 2009 Fete for the Commune of Criteuil la Magdeleine this June. More than 1000 visitors attended and over 200 lunches were served in the shade of the upper avenue of Tilleuls. We had a Folk Rock concert with the Anglo French group Champagne Charlies on Saturday evening and a Fore Artisanale plus Funambule (see video clip) all day on Sunday. The Comité des FÊtes deserve many congratulations for a huge amount of work in preparing and running a joyful weekend. Roll on 2010!
